Ingestion
A payment service needs to be configured to allow importing the daily settlement data for each merchant account. A daily import cycle runs for each connection that has settlement report import enabled.- Each day at 2am UTC all the reports that have been created by payment services between 00:00 and 23:59 UTC the day before are fetched.
- After the import is completed the data is stored in the merchant instance and a consolidated, universal settlement report is generated, combining data from all the imported files.
- At 1am UTC the following day this report is made available.
- One hour later, at 2am, the reports from the payment services that were created the previous 24 hours are obtained to continue the import and creation cycle.

Settlement reporting only has to be enabled for one PSP account. If there are multiple connectors connected to the
same PSP account and settlement reporting is enabled for all of them, the same report is imported multiple times.
Reconciliation
Settlement reports include various pieces of data, including details on the captured funds, deducted fees, and net amounts transferred to an account. They are crucial for reconciling accounts, managing cash flow, and ensuring accurate financial records. Each imported record is automatically matched against transactions, providing settlement data directly in the dashboard. Where possible, the transaction is matched and any of the reported fees are added to the transaction records.Universal reports
Finally, the consolidated settlement report is a transaction level report of the imported data from all configured payment services, conveniently combined into one report. The report is generated on a daily basis by importing settlement details from configured connections, and then generating a daily CSV with the reported settled transactions.Supported features summary
Different PSP settlement reports offer varying levels of reporting granularity. As a result, not every integration supports the same level of detail. Full end to end reconciliation with the bank statement may also not be possible. Below is a table summarizing the supported features of each settlement reporting integration.| Payment service | Definition | Settlements | Fees | Fee breakdown | Refunds | Chargebacks | Other journal types | Full reconciliation possible? | Notes |
